Subscribethat’s the news on the teaching job search. the rejection letter (sent by regular mail) was basically, “don’t take it personal, you are good, but we got someone better.” the interview, which was today, was real quick. i didn’t even get asked the “so tell me about yourself” question. the principal was really laid back. it was a charter school. i feel like i did well with the few questions he did ask, and i had to present a lesson plan and i feel like that went well. but as i often say, i could be delusional. quick is not good. he said that i would know by next week. today i applied for yet another job, one that i found on craigs list for a kindergarten teacher position. the alternative teaching certification program i am in is putting on a job fair on the 9th of august.
oh boy.
