never uploaded a photo through wordpress before, but here you go! i took this after work today.
i adjusted the photo a little bit in lightroom. nothing major, though. changed it to sepia and adjusted the exposure a little bit.
trying to line up summer photography work! really looking forward to having time to photograph.
a couple years ago i discovered this podcast and it’s something special. i listen to it on my way to work every morning.
the other day they shared a poem called letter of resignation by william baer that is quite splendid.

really sleepy. woke up kind of early this morning. love my students and job but i’m so looking forward to winter break. the whole galveston plan is not going to work, i forgot about the recent hurricane. oklahoma? perhaps! gas is so cheap i just want to drive somewhere. anywhere.
