tomorrow, friday, there is a half day so technically less than 7. and then the last day of school is also a half day…so technically 6 more full days? ;)

never uploaded a photo through wordpress before, but here you go! i took this after work today.
i adjusted the photo a little bit in lightroom. nothing major, though. changed it to sepia and adjusted the exposure a little bit.
trying to line up summer photography work! really looking forward to having time to photograph.
yesterday at work i got the invitation to teach again next year! state exam scores are yet to come back and i hope they are good, but i think i am successfully finishing up my first year of teaching!

a couple years ago i discovered this podcast and it’s something special. i listen to it on my way to work every morning.
the other day they shared a poem called letter of resignation by william baer that is quite splendid.
this morning i took my ec-12 ppr exam, which is the pedagogy and professional responsibilities teaching exam in texas, and i think i did well on it. it was pretty easy. results in 2-3 days. sucked that i had a weekend test date, but it was the earliest available date open and at this point [...]

ok, so it is thursday night. waiting for “taking the stage” on mtv to come on in a little bit. i so would had ate that school up if i attended that school. needless to say, i love the performing arts.

sometimes i feel like this song. i am always singing. i heard the song on the radio and used midomi to grab it. an awesome iphone app, better than shazam because it will tell you what a song is even if you sing or hum the song. shazam doesn’t do that.
