Subscribei woke up this morning feeling like my blood was on fire. i feel terrible right now, maybe catching a cold or something along that line of illness.
this weekend my family is going to memphis to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. a surprise birthday party. and yes, i doubt my grandma reads my blog. haha. i’m not for sure if i will be going or not. i don’t feel well, but also i don’t want to miss the event. i’ll decide in the morning before i go to work. yep, i work on good friday. totally sucks.
on monday i am going to st. louis, mo. to a conference dealing with science. i am excited about the trip, i just hope i am not sick. the trip is sponsored by my school. free trip. i am looking forward to learning and discovering. it is only two days, but it should be two good days.
i’ve been thinking about my summer plans. i think it is better to have potential plans that don’t pan out than to have no plans at all. so…here is what i am thinking…
i have a friend who lives in tempe, az. over the summer i could fly out to tempe and spend a week with her and her new baby. then i could rent a car and drive to los angeles, ca. it’s around a 5 hour drive. i’ve never been to california before. WOULD love to go! BUT, i am more interested in san francisco than l.a. but sanfran would be a very long drive up. so yeah, i’m thinking about summer.
