this week i applied to 48 jobs in the houston isd. some of them have already changed to the status of “closed” and i got one principal to actually send an email to let me know that she hired someone for the position i applied for. however, she said “please check to see if any additional positions are posted later this summer.” when you are job searching it is good to hear something even if it is a rejection, it means someone at least looked at your resume. some interest. and…each no moves me closer to a yes! plus she encouraged me to look for additional jobs at her school so i think i will file this one under “job lead.”
