Subscribeover the past few months i’ve come to notice that when i am looking for information online yahoo answers pop up a lot in the top results, sort of like how wikipedia started to come up a lot a few years ago. today i was browsing through the language section, and someone asked “what is the longest english word?” and someone replied with “smiles” because it has a mile between the first and last letter. and well, that’s funny to me. haha.
okay, i’ve been talking about writing a blog in spanish for a while now. the other day i started on one but it was becoming very random. but one of these days i am going to bust out some spanish for all 3 of you guys that read diaryofagirl.com. i am tempted to sign up for a conversation & culture class at the local community college but i’m afraid it might be too advance for me even though i’ve taken the prerequisite. lately i’ve been asking myself how would i say something i’m about to say in english in spanish instead, so i guess i’m moving in the right direction.
in my family we have clusters of birthdays. currently we are in the winter cluster of birthdays. last friday it was my brother’s birthday, yesterday my nephew’s, and this friday it will be my mom’s birthday. for my nephew’s birthday i got him an harmonica, and he loves it but it is really noisy.
